What is the job of an Agri-King Area Manager?

Sales Person
Your primary responsibility is to call on livestock producers communicating to them the benefits they will realize on Agri-King’s personalized feeding programs.

Service Person
You will gather and record detailed information on a regular basis, pertaining to that herd and its particular management practices.  You will take samples and mail them to Agri-King’s laboratory, explain feeding rations, discuss animal nutrition, and handle and deliver products (weighing up to 50 lbs) in your vehicle.

Teacher
You will teach the Agri-King concept of feeding livestock, assisting producers in learning new and progressive methods in the industry.

Consultant
You will be involved in understanding your clients’ operations and guiding producers to realistic goals.

Problem Solver
In cooperation with Agri-King’s staff and nutritionists, your clients and their veterinarians, you will help diagnose and resolve problems.

Friend
You must truly CARE for each individual’s well being…caring for each client as though he or she is your ONLY client.

Area Manager training programs include one-on-one training in your territory with your Regional Manager, monthly region meetings, National Sales Meetings, and two training programs at the home office with other new Area Managers.

The entire home office plays a vital role in your success…supporting you, the Area Manager, and assisting you with the service you provide you clients.

Sales Support

Agri-King’s home complex is located in Fulton, IL.  It includes an office supporting five different departments including Rations, Nutrition, Sales and Marketing, Data Processing, and Accounting; a state-of-the-art research and development and production laboratory; and a quality controlled production plant and warehouse.  Approximately 90 employees work in these various aspects to support our sales force and provide client services.
